This Privacy Policy explains how SeatWell, a brand of VS Chairs ("we", "us"), handles personal information collected through seatwell.in. By using the website you agree to this policy. It is written to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Information we collect

  • Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number.
  • Delivery details: shipping address, PIN code and, if you allow it, your approximate location to check whether we deliver to you.
  • Order details: products, prices, coupon codes, payment method and order status.
  • Account details if you sign up, including via Google sign-in (name, verified email address and profile picture).
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security and to improve the website.

How we use your information

  • To process, deliver and support your orders, including WhatsApp and phone follow-ups.
  • To verify payments and prevent fraud.
  • To send order updates, invoices and service messages.
  • To improve products, website performance and customer service.
  • To meet legal, tax (GST) and accounting obligations.

Payments

Online payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your full card, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials. For payment through WhatsApp or Cash on Delivery we only record the order and payment status.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers needed to fulfil your order (payment gateway, courier and logistics partners, cloud hosting and database providers) and when required by law.

Retention and security

We keep order and tax records for as long as the law requires. Data is stored with Google Firebase (Firestore) and protected with access controls and encrypted connections.

Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to support@seatwell.in. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.

Children

The website is not directed at children under 18.
